Raleigh Walter is from Oakland, California. She is the recipient of a 2019 Gold Key for fiction and a Silver Key for poetry in the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards, and was a finalist for the Lake Effect National High School Poetry Competition, Her work has appeared in The Interlochen Review, Elan Magazine, and the Red Wheelbarrow. Raleigh will attend The University of Oregon this fall.
