Priyanka Voruganti is from New York City and will attend the University of Cambridge in the fall. She's a bi-weekly contributor to the female-run publication Speciwomen and has been published in The Women's Review of Books, the book of essays Now That We're Men, and the Red Wheelbarrow. She is the recipient of a 2019 Gold Medal Nonfiction Writing Award in the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards, a two-year national finalist for the Poetry Out Loud competition, and occasionally conducts interviews for the Adroit Journal, the Brooklyn Rail, and more.
