Tatiana Shpakow is from Albuquerque, New Mexico. Tati has spent the last seven years in journalism, and took a right turn this year to pursue creative writing. She was the recipient of the 2020 Michigan State New York Life Award from the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards. She will attend Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio this fall.
