miracle thornton - editor in chief

Miracle Thornton is from Franklinville, New Jersey. Her work has been published in DREGINALD, Silent Auctions, UpNorth Lit and the Interlochen Review. She’s been recognized by the National YoungArts Foundation, Princeton University, among others. She will be attending Emerson College.

lane devers - managing editor

Lane Devers is a junior at Interlochen arts academy. He was selected in 2019 as a finalist in Creative Nonfiction by the YoungArts Foundation and he placed second in the Princeton University Leonard L. Milberg poetry prize in 2020. His work has appeared/is forthcoming in places like Diagram, Brevity, Juked and elsewhere. 

hannah schoettmer - lead poetry editor

Hannah Schoettmer's creative work has appeared or is forthcoming in The Louisville Review, Glass: A Journal of Poetry, 24hr Neon Mag, and elsewhere. She lives in Washington state. Hannah will be attending University of Edinburgh.

Bianca layog - lead nonfiction editor

Bianca Layog is a junior at Interlochen Arts Academy. Her work has been nationally recognized by the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards, has appeared in The Red Wheelbarrow, and is forthcoming in Eunoia Review. She is from Manila, Philippines and owns 17 winter hats.

raleigh walter - lead fiction editor

Raleigh Walter is from Oakland, California. She is the recipient of a 2019 Gold Key for fiction and a Silver Key for poetry in the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards, and was a finalist for the Lake Effect National High School Poetry Competition, Her work has appeared in The Interlochen Review, Elan Magazine, and the Red Wheelbarrow. Raleigh will attend The University of Oregon.

priyanka voruganti - hybrid editor

Priyanka Voruganti is from New York City and will attend the University of Cambridge. She's a bi-weekly contributor to the female-run publication Speciwomen and has been published in The Women's Review of Books, the book of essays Now That We're Men, and the Red Wheelbarrow. She is the recipient of a 2019 Gold Medal Nonfiction Writing Award in the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards, a two-year national finalist for the Poetry Out Loud competition, and occasionally conducts interviews for the Adroit Journal, the Brooklyn Rail, and more.

olivia johnson - scripts/screenplays editor

Olivia Johnson is a Minnesota native from Duluth. She has been recognized for placing 1st in the 2019 Michigan State University Benvenuto High School Poetry Competition in Poetry of 2019, being a semi-finalist in both the 2019 ONU Single Poem Broadside Contest and the 2019 Lake Effect National High School Poetry Competition, receiving an Honorable Mention in the 2019 Nancy Thorp Poetry Contest of Hollins University, and winning the 2020 National Writers Series Judith Lang Creative Writing Award. She has also been recognized for winning four Gold Keys, two Honorable Mentions, three Silver Keys, and an American Voices Nomination in the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards. Her work has also appeared in the Red Wheelbarrow. Olivia will be attending the University of Victoria in British Columbia.

tatiana shpakow - interviews editor

Tatiana Shpakow is from Albuquerque, New Mexico. Tati has spent the last seven years in journalism, and took a right turn this year to pursue creative writing. She was the recipient of the 2020 Michigan State New York Life Award from the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards. She will attend Kenyon Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio.

naomi bohanan - poetry editor

Naomi Bohanan is a first year senior Creative Writing major at Interlochen Arts Academy. She is from Ringold, Oklahoma. She received an honorable mention in the 2020 Scholastic Art & Writing Awards. She will attend the Institute of American Indian Arts in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Maia Siegel is a junior at Interlochen Arts Academy. Her poetry is either published or forthcoming in Poetry London, The Bennington Review, The Saranac Review, and elsewhere. Her poetry has been recognized by The Poetry Society, The Hippocrates Society, The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards, and other organizations.

Sara Carmichael is a junior Creative Writing major at Interlochen Arts Academy. She is from Montclair, New Jersey. Her work has been nationally recognized by the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards. She has been published in the Red Wheelbarrow and Élan.

Enzo Gangi is from São Paulo, Brazil. He is the recipient of three Gold Keys for Writing Portfolio and Fiction, two Silver Keys and two Honorable Mentions in the 2020 Scholastic Art & Writing Awards. His work has appeared in the Red Wheelbarrow. Enzo will attend Bennington College in Bennington, Vermont.
