Lila Lost her Golden One

Vivi rogers

Lyrics:

His sense of humor

Defied all rumors

She knew weren’t him

His long blue jacket

Dressed like white rabbit

She knew him

The letter L

Stood for love

Until Lila lost her golden one

3 months had gone by

He didn’t know why

She was so hurt

His paint was peeling

Copper revealing

No gold underneath dirt

The letter L

Stood for love

Until Lila lost her golden one

This school’s infested

He finally fell in

To the wrong crowd

No one expected

The shiny new toy

To get put in the lost and found

The letter L

Stood for love

Until Lila lost her golden one

Oh She knew him

Til she didn’t

White ears in a blur when he’d run

Oh she knew him

Till she didn’t

He’s not her golden one

Oh She knew him

Til she didn’t

He’s not her golden one

Oh she knew him

Till she didn’t

He’s not her golden one

Now the letter L

Stands for Lila left all alone

And little eyes that told lavish lies Lila didn’t know

Until she lost her golden one
